6tbsp Passata
1 can Diet Orangeade
few good glugs Balsamic Vinegar
couple Splashes Dark Soy Sauce
Garlic Powder

Syn Free Sweet ‘n’ Sour

Sweet 'n' sour is a firm favourite in my house so when I started SW it only made sense to look at making a healthier on plan alternative. Cue this recipe. It's so simple to make, tastes delish and it's syn free. What more can I ask for :-)

Start by chopping your chicken breasts, onions, peppers, carrot and celery. You need to keep your veggies quite chunky. Chuck the lot into a large frying pan and fry it off with frylight.


Next just add in your orangeade, passata, a few glugs of balsamic vinegar (can always add more later to taste), a few splashes of soy sauce and a sprinkle of garlic powder.


Stir the pot together and bring to the boil. Then just reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the sauce reduces.
