1 syn pizza

So like most I love a good pizza night! But just one slice can really rack up the old syn gauge. So I'm always on the look out for a pizza alternative. I've made cauliflower pizza (yummy but a lot of faff) and noodle pizza (super scrum but not SP friendly) and then I tried this bad boy!!

Steps

1
Done

I just start by whisking up my 6 egg whites until they are firm. Next I just gently fold in my 4tsp of self raising flour (2syns), my 6 yolks and a little salt and pepper to season.

Then I just pour the lot into a baking dish either lined with a silicone sheet or baking paper. I prefer silicone I find it works the best and causes less sticking for sure (I've added a link for where you can purchase). I then just pop it in the oven on 180° for roughly 20mins.

While this is cooking I prepare all my toppings and mix together my tomato puree, garlic and oregano. Once it's time I just take my base out the oven and spread on my tomato puree mix and add my toppings along with 60g of grated cheese (2xhexa). Then I just pop it back in the oven until the cheese is golden, roughly another 10 mins. It's absolutely schamazing and probably the best pizza alternative I've had. Hope you enjoy xoxo

Hello! So just a wee bit about myself! I'm Emily mother of 2 beautiful little men and partner to my 30 year old man child, haha. I'm a massive foody, Slimming world member and a former fatty! To date I have lost over 11 stone and am currently right were I want to be. I love experimenting with food and finding new ways to use different things. I'm a throw it in kind of chef but thought I'd share a few of my ideas and/or recipes. As well as a few piccies, I mean who doesn't like pictures of food, right?! XoXo
