So I’m an avid Slimming world follower so this is an amazing chocolatey fix of a recipe that I have found. They work out as 1/2syn each (Slimming world jargon to you non SW followers). However they are also a great healthy alternative for anyone striving for a diet friendly chocolate alternative. Low fat, sugar and flour free what more can you ask for.

Optional Extras – Toppings –

Creamy chocolate Topping

4 tbsp of quark, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp sweetener

Mix all together and add to the Brownies once cooked and cooled.

Creamy chocolate topping is 3 syns spread across the 12 brownies so is pretty negliagable

Peanut butter chocolate brownies

Mix 2tbsp of PB2 (see link for purchase below) with a little water and 2tsp of sweetener. For you Slimming Worlders this works out as 2 syns spread across the 12 brownies so is pretty negliagable. Add a small drop of the PB2 mix to the brownies once you have separated the mix into your cases and then pop them in the oven.

Steps

1
Done

First of all, preheat the oven at 180ºc. Then separate 3 eggs and whisk the egg whites until they form soft peaks.

2
Done

In a separate bowl mix your egg yolks, 40g of sweetener, 1tsp of vanilla essence and 30g of cocoa powder. Mix it until it is all combined well. The mixture can get quite tough so keep adding bits of the egg white until it becomes smoother and easier to whisk.

3
Done

Next, gently fold in the rest of the egg whites, pour into a lined tin or muffin cases (mix will need to make 12 to be 1/2 a syn). Then bake for about 15-20 minutes. I ate mine once cooled but they would also be delish warm. Enjoy xoxo

Hello! So just a wee bit about myself! I'm Emily mother of 2 beautiful little men and partner to my 30 year old man child, haha. I'm a massive foody, Slimming world member and a former fatty! To date I have lost over 11 stone and am currently right were I want to be. I love experimenting with food and finding new ways to use different things. I'm a throw it in kind of chef but thought I'd share a few of my ideas and/or recipes. As well as a few piccies, I mean who doesn't like pictures of food, right?! XoXo

Thanks so much for this! Can’t wait to make these with my little sister as a fab alternative to a birthday cake for our mum (also a Slimming Worlder).

I made these without topping and they are so nice! Really moist and sticky just like normal brownies, even my boyfriend is scoffing them and normally he turns his nose up at the slimming world desserts! I’m thinking of experimenting with it and maybe melting 2 mini fudge bars into the mix and making them choc fudge brownies at 1 syn each, maybe one with mini marshmallows, not sure how they’ll work out but going to try a few different things. Having said that they are delicious as they are, thank you!
