Mushy Pea Curry

So if your anything like me and spare time is an issue. When it comes to food you like to keep it quick, easy to make and of course syn free. Cue mushy pea curry!

I’ve seen a few variations of the recipe knocking about the internet but this is how I made it.

To make the sauce I just fried off 2 chopped small onions. I then added 2 tins of mushy peas, a tin of chopped tomatoes and a tin of baked beans and mix it all together. I then added in 2 tbsp of curry powder and 1 tsp of hot chilli powder. I allowed this to all simmer for about 15mins. I then put the lot in the blender and blitzed it all down.


While the sauce is simmering just fry off some chopped chicken breast and a chopped onion and then add it to the blitzed sauce. I've had this on rice and chips and they are equally yummy
